There are quotes that you won't forget no matter what. That you love and know from the top off your head and hold a special place in your heart.

To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.”

“Not all those who wander are lost.”

“Let's rattle the stars”

“What we think to be our greatest weakness can sometimes be our biggest strength.”

“I love you. There is no limit to what I can give to you, no time I need. Even when this world is forgotten whisper of dust between the stars, I will love you.”

“You're an absolutely stunning, murderous little creature.”

“Always,” he whispered in the breath we shared. “Your heart was always safe with me. It always will be. There is nothing I will protect more fiercely or with more devotion, Poppy. Trust in that—in what you feel from me.”

“You are the foundation that helps me stand. You are my walls and my roof. My shelter. You are my home.”

“You will bow before your Queen. Or you will bleed before her.”

“I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.”

Book review: Elemental Fae academy (book one) - Lexi C Foss

Elemental Fae Academy is about Claire, a Halfling ( half human half fae) who doesn't even know she's a Halfling due to being raised in the human world with her human grandparents. On her 21th birthday, she's being taken to the fae realm as her powers are no longer subdued and without the proper training she could do major harm.   Only there won't be a warm welcome waiting for Claire, as her mother is the reason why almost all spirit fae have perished. The spirit fae are responsible for life and dead, and them being there keeps the other fae alive. But there's a curse due to her mother's actions, making the spirit fae unable to procreate. Which ultimately leads to them going extinct and then the other fae will die too.   As she's learning to live in this new world and it's rules and getting control over her powers, she's assigned multiple bodyguards to keep her safe. Slowly feelings will unravel between Claire and them, confusing her all the...

Book review: Kingdom of the Wicked - Keri Maniscalco

Omg. Why did I wait so long to read KOTW?! It took only a couple of pages for me to be sucked into this book. I liked that in order to use their magic, witches had to use spells or herbs, bones and blood and stuff.  And wrath ‘sigh’.  Honestly, who doesn’t love a handsome demon prince who kinda gives the ‘If you touch her, I kill you vibes’ even though he acts like he is a stone cold, unemotional asshole a lot of the time. And the ending… I felt hurt. Betrayed. I could have seen it coming, yet didn’t want to see it coming maybe? Anyway, I hope the next book has some answers regarding this issue, because I’m not okay with Wrath’s sudden behavior change at the end. Emilia made some not so smart decisions that could have jeopardized her life on multiple occasions. Yet I couldn’t fault her for that. I mean her sister was murdered, keeping all these secrets, and it was up to her to find out what happened. I understand you get naive and desperate at some point to find answers...

Book review: The Darkest Star - Jennifer L Armentrout

The Darkest Star is the first installment in the Origin series and is set in the same universe as the Lux series. The main characters followed in this book are Evie and Luc. We still know Luc from the Lux series and we have also seen Evie briefly in it. The Darkest Star was really like coming home if you've read the Lux series. The writing style of Jennifer l Armentrout reads wonderfully and makes you fly through the book. The end of the book makes you long for more and luckily the second and third part of the series has already been released, so you can immediately continue reading how things are going with Evie and Luc. Several characters from the Lux series also make an appearance in this book. This is of course fantastic for anyone who can't seem to say goodbye to the beloved Daemon and his friends and family.
